I have been aboard Beothuk many times, from the first time she was presented to the market to recently at the Palm Beach boatshow and have had the pleasure of meeting and knowing a number of her captains. They all report what a pleasure she is to operate and that she is a great sea boat.
Beothuk is of superb quality as you would expect from a Kuipers and she has always been kept in excellent condition as my last inspection showed. When she launched she has a number of firsts, first boat built with all LED lighting, first in her size to have a fully glass touch bridge and so on. She took almost 4 years to build and was extremely expensive as the owner open budget. The time and commitment to quality shows today.
The great advantage to Beothuk today is you can buy her for a fraction of her build or replacement cost and have a vessel that is in turn key ready to go exploring condition .
